OrigemEnergia starts supplying gas to Bahiagás

A six-year contract distributes the supply in two stages: Stage 1 provides the supply of 15 thousand m³/day

OrigemEnergia started the supply of natural gas to Bahiagás, informed the company in its LinkedIn last Wednesday (October 6). As published by PetróleoHoje, the company connected the pipe network from Tucano Sul Complex to the Bahia distribution company facilities.
The contract provides for the supply of gas for a period of six years in two stages: Stage 1 started in September provides for the delivery of 15 thousand m³/day of natural gas, while in Stage 2 forecast for 2022 last quarter, the delivery will be increased to 150 thousand m³/dayof natural gas.
“For Stage 2, the required infrastructure will be built for the delivery of natural gas, implementing the increase of the volume received by Bahiagás”, explains OrigemEnergiain its press release. Such required infrastructure would be a unit for treatment and processing of natural gas which is in the company plans.
OrigemEnergiawas created in 2017 as Petro+; the change of name is linked to the change of its strategy which became energy integration with focus on the gas production chain.
Today, the company has a portfolio of 16 concessionsthat are located in (Quererá, Conceição, Fazenda Matinha, Fazenda Santa Rosa and Fazenda Gameleira), Rio Grande do Norte (Tiziu), Alagoas (Pilar, Furado, Anambé, Arapaçu, São Miguel dos Campos, Cidade São Miguel dos Campos and Paru) and Espírito Santo (Garça Branca, Saíra and Mosquito).
In addition to Origem, Bahiagás also receives natural gas from Alvopetro.
