Green diesel and aviation bio-kerosene are renewable fuels whose use is the fastest-growing worldwide. Capable of reducing carbon emissions, they consist of a mixture of hydrocarbons, making them drop-in biofuels.
This project will model, simulate, and optimize a green diesel and aviation biofuel production unit.
The project is being developed in collaboration with the Petroleum and Energy Research Institute (LITPEG) at Pernambuco Federal University (UFPE), Maringá State University (UEM), and the University of Alicante (UA) – a public university in Spain.
